Review of: A Midnight Dance by Joanna Davidson Politano

This book had me in tears right from the beginning - simply because the author somehow put together everything I love right from the opening paragraph: gorgeous, lush descriptions, the aura of beauty and mystery that surrounds the theater, romance, secrets from the past, references to classic literature, and a young girl longing to figure out who she is and where she belongs. This is undoubtedly my favorite book of Ms. Politano's so far. I couldn't put it down! The poetic writing matched the beauty of the art being described (ballet), and the story was like a dance in itself. The ending was so perfect I had to get tissues. This book will a person away to dreamland and back again, resonating deep within the heart. This one is going on my shelf to keep, share, and read again.
